Rowan Little League Members,
After much consideration, feedback from those in our organization and community, and meticulous evaluation of all of the information available about all aspects of the current situation involving the Covid-19 pandemic the Rowan Little League Board of Directors has come to the decision to cancel the 2020 “SPRING” season. We are working on a plan to have a Summer/Fall League beginning the first week of August. Our plan is to have a full 8-10 week season. This plan is contingent on the guidelines that the CDC, State of NC, and City of Salisbury allow.
While this is not the outcome that anyone involved had hoped for, we truly believe that it is the most pragmatic and responsible choice for our organization, community, and the children and families of which this association is comprised.
While we are certainly disappointed at the prospect of a lost season, we look forward to rededicating our efforts toward planning and preparation for a 2020 Summer/Fall season in which we hope to see everyone back at the ballpark!
We would like to sincerely thank all of you for your patience and understanding as we have worked diligently to manage this unprecedented situation in a way that is both responsible and respectful of the needs of our community and participants.
We will be sending out emails soon discussing registration refunds, rollovers (carry your paid fee over to this Summer/Fall or to the 2021 Season), or making it a donation.
